ABC Fencing were requested to work with a leading main contractor on the NTT project in Dagenham. The scheme comprised of two new industrial units, the facilities totalling over 570,000 sq ft. We supplied external perimeter protection and hostile vehicle mitigation to ensure the units had the highest security possible.
The works involved over 1000 meters of 358 High Security Mesh Fencing, to create a perimeter around the units. This was BS 1722 Part 4 Category 4 compliant to ensure the safety of the facilities. We supplied and installed several matching single leaf gates for pedestrian access, two double leaf Swing Gates, and a Manual Cantilever Sliding Gate all SR1 compliant to meet the fence specifications. This ensured controlled passage for all parties entering and exiting the premises.
ABC Fencing are qualified to install PAS68 rated products. On this project we erected PAS68 (50mph) Bi-Folding Trackless Speed Gates that have been successfully impact tested to BSI PAS68, stopping 7500 kg vehicles travelling at 40-50 mph (tested at 4200 x 2200 mm). Another PAS68 product installed were PAS68 Truck Stopper Bollards, these have been proven to stop and disable a truck weighing 7.5 tonnes travelling at 40 mph.
Along with the 358 high security mesh, ABC erected Steel Palisade fencing around the boundary to suit the existing fencing on the complex, with a matching steel palisade gate. Also Chainlink with Triple Barbed Wire in some areas for full guarantee of the protection of the fencing.
For further protection to the units ABC Fencing erected Armco Crash Barriers to mitigate any risks in the event of an accident. We also suppled Altron CCTV Poles dotted around the premises, ensuring it can be under surveillance at all times.
